Some Facts from the History of OCELPROFIL, s.r.o.

OCELPROFIL, s.r.o. is a manufacturer of welded steel sections and tubes of a selected assortment. It was established in 1999 and in the following year the company purchased and installed a line for the production of welded structural tubes and closed steel sections in the leased premises in Staré Město.

In the meantime, the company prepared for the implementation of the quality management system (QMS) of the internal processes in accordance with the EN ISO 9001:2000 standards and the company’s system was subsequently certified by CERT – ACO Kladno in April 2001. In 2004, the QMS was recertified and the certificate is valid until 2007.

The company is also a holder of the certificate of the internal control system issued by the Technical Testing Institute Piešťany required for the sale of products in the market of the Slovak Republic. In order to ensure the conformity of the products with the technical regulations, the company gained the certificate for all the products manufactured by the company issued by State Testing Institute Brno.

In 2005, the company purchased business premises in Huštěnovice and reconstructed especially the factory building. The company redeveloped the premises in order to move the production activities from the leased premises to its own premises and the process was completed by the end of October 2006. At present, two production lines are in operation.

The further growth of the company and its future success in the Czech and foreign markets require the continuous improvement of technical parameters and development of progressive technologies as well as the effective quality management system.
